The Poitín Makers Child

Poitin Makers Child is a queer folk cabaret that blends drag, live music, and ritual with Irish storytelling traditions. Inspired by history where Irish bots wore linen dresses to confuse the fairies, this immersive performance reclaims myth to explore identity, gender, power, and liberation. Both set and costume were designed by myself largely sourced from charity and vintage shops, and costumes/props that myself or the team already owned.
